On the second day of my official trip to Gambia, together with members of our Beart & Gibson Group team

021

On the second day of my official trip to Gambia, together with members of our Beart & Gibson Group team, made of Dr Shelley Amos, our Western African Regional Director and Mr Modou Sanneh, our local Gambian Partner, had the honor of visiting the First Lady of Gambia, Her Excellency Fatoumatta Bah-Barrow who is actively engaged in various humanitarian and charitable organisations.

We listened to the First Lady’s concerns and priorities in order to understand how Beart & Gibson Group can help address any challenges or support any initiatives that are important to her and her people, especially the most vulnerable groups of society. Madame Fatoumatta Bah-Barrow runs her Foundation , the “Fatoumatta Bah Barrow” or “FaBB” focusing on saving and improving lives of the most vulnerable people in the society.
Her main concern is building a Women and Children Hospital and we discussed a potential collaboration on supporting her initiative.

We shared our vision that building a hospital will help to promote and support the health and well-being of women and children in Gambia.
This is a positive step forward towards improving the healthcare infrastructure, providing specialised care and treatment, making the hospital accessible to the vulnerable ones.

We also discussed the work that Beart & Gibson Group will potentially do in Gambia, including investments in construction, manufacturing, and infrastructure. I highlighted the company’s commitment to working with local communities and promoting economic growth in the region.

The First Lady expressed her appreciation for the visit and the commitment to supporting Gambia’s development. She praised Beart & Gibson Group’s initiatives and encouraged other companies to follow their example in investing in Gambia and supporting the country’s development goals.

The visit was a testament to the strong partnership between Beart & Gibson Group and the government of Gambia, and to their shared commitment to promoting economic development and improving the lives of people in the country. We look forward to continuing this partnership and supporting Gambia’s growth and prosperity.
